Stefan Fuertbauer (AUT) before his premiere in Formula 4

REMUS Formula Cup - Brno racetrack (CEZ)

In the REMUS Formula Cup season finale in Brno, two youngsters will celebrate their debut in the new formula car. 15-year-old Stefan Fuertbauer makes his debut with Franz Woess Racing and will ride in Formula 4 for the first time. Fuertbauer comes from karting and is currently the leader in the Austrian Kart Championship (Division III). The second one is the Czech Vaclav Safar. The 20-year-old has already been driving in Formula 4 and this year he made the transition to Formula Renault, where he was able to win his first race in Most right away. Safar will make his Formula 3 debut with the GT2 Motorsport team with a Dallara 308 Opel Spiess.

“I am very pleased that young talented drivers are always finding their way into the REMUS Formula Cup. Our series has always been a springboard for higher things. Here you can sniff international racing air and get to know different racetracks all around Europe” says Franz Woess from the REMUS Formel Cup. Some junior pilots have started or continued their formula career in the REMUS Formula Cup in the past. Pilots such as Michael Santos (Dom. Rep.), the two Germans Christian Wachter and Philipp Regensperger, or the Swiss Moritz Mueller-Crepon are among the participants who used the REMUS Formula Cup as a motorsport stage.
