Annual award ceremony in the house of Dallara

Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup

Next weekend the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup will meet in Italy for its annual victory ceremony. On Friday (29.11.2019) from 8 p.m. onwards, the winners' trophies for this year's season will be presented at the Dallara Academy. After last year's Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup had its championship celebration in Nuremberg, the world-famous manufacturer of racing cars will be hosting the event in 2019 for good reason. The TOPJET F2000 Italy Formula Trophy will also be at the event to choose its champions. The Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup now has a long-standing cooperation with the Italian formula racing series, which is to be continued in the coming year.

Prof. Dr. Ralph Pütz wins trophy at MotorSport World Expo

Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup

Every year the MotorSport World Expo attracts an international trade public to the exhibition halls in Cologne. Since 2006, what is probably the largest fair of its kind in Central Europe has been taking place. The Drexler automotive Formel Cup was optimally presented in Cologne at the conditions of its main sponsor Drexler automotive from the Bavarian salt way. Drexler automotive develops, produces and supplies high-quality drive components for racing vehicles, sport and super sports cars to the automobile industry, as well as racing teams and private customers. The company RAVENOL took the fair as an opportunity to present its donated trophies.

The season in the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup has barely come to an end this autumn, when the car shows will take place. The first will be the Racing Expo in Prague, which will take place from November 8th to 10th. As part of the presentation of the ESET V4 Cup, Franz Wöss Racing will be exhibiting Tom Beckhäuser's Dallara 308 Opel Spiess. The third of this year's Drexler Formula Cup won the ESET V4 Cup Formula 3 category ahead of Andrea Cola (ITA) and Sandro Zeller (SUI). There will also be a Formula 4 racing car on the stand. Formula 4 is still considered to be the entry-level class in formula racing. The ESET V4 Cup has made a name for itself for years in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. In addition to the formula categories, the GT3 class and the current TCR touring car class are considered the ideal stepping stones in circuit racing. In Prague, touring cars from the one-make cup of the Renault Clio Cup and Renault Twingo Cup can also be seen.

Positive end of season for Renauer Motorsport

Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup

For Renauer Motorsport from Austria, the motorsport season ended quite positively this year at the Hungaroring finale. The team around team boss Sepp Renauer was active for the first time in 2019 in the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup, specifically in Formula 3 and Formula 4. Thus, after successful years in the GT and sports car sector, as well as the European NASCAR series, the company returned to its roots. Josef Halwachs (Formula 3) and Marius Morosan (Formula 4) won the home race at the Red Bull Ring with points. "We immediately felt very comfortable in the Drexler Formula Cup," says Sepp Renauer. Company junior Florian trumps in his first Formula 4 race in Hungary and clinched a triple victory in the entry-level Formula 4 category. His position in the overall field was certainly remarkable, even leaving Formula 3 cars and Formula Renault cars behind. "Florian really surprised me, which made us feel very positive," says Sepp Renauer. The result at the Hungaroring can perhaps also be seen as a hint for the team's future plans. For 2020 they definitely want to continue driving in the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup. They are currently considering options with one Formula 3 and two Formula 4. Formula racing is still on Renauer Motorsport's agenda alongside GT projects.
