Imola completes the calendar for this season

11 March 2019

Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup

Since March the calendar stands now finally for the Drexler-Automotive Formel Cup in this year. As in 2018, the formula series with Formula 3, Formula Renault and Formula 4 is on its way on seven international racetracks. If Imola is included in the calendar as a former Grand Prix circuit, the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup 2019 will run on four Formula 1 racetracks. In addition, there are two race tracks, where Moto-GP is at home, and one race track, where the Truck Grand Prix has been feeling really comfortable for years. "We have succeeded in creating an attractive calendar for this year. We drive in Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary. When selecting the race tracks, we naturally took care to be able to agree on reasonable framework conditions," says coordinator Franz Wöss.

We're off on the first weekend in April in Monza (05.-07.04.) as part of the Italian championship. The Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup will be coming to the Red Bull Ring in Austria from 17 to 19 May. This event has become a tradition in the calendar. The second station in Italy is called Imola. Here the formula series of 21.-23.06. is to guest. One week later (28.-30.06.) one drives in the Autodrom Most in the framework program of the NASCAR premiere. Mugello, one of the most demanding race courses in Europe, is scheduled for 19-21 July. Here one will drive like in Monza and Imola with the Italian championship. From 06.-08.09.the Drexler-Automobile Formula Cup comes to Brno. The Masarykring Days will be part of the BOSS GP. New in the calendar is the final on the Hungaroring. It will take place from 12th to 13th October. The selection of race tracks and events leaves nothing to be desired for this season. "It is important for us that we drive in the countries where the majority of our participants are at home. The access routes must simply remain calculable," says Franz Wöss.
