Positive end of season for Renauer Motorsport

For Renauer Motorsport from Austria, the motorsport season ended quite positively this year at the Hungaroring finale. The team around team boss Sepp Renauer was active for the first time in 2019 in the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup, specifically in Formula 3 and Formula 4. Thus, after successful years in the GT and sports car sector, as well as the European NASCAR series, the company returned to its roots. Josef Halwachs (Formula 3) and Marius Morosan (Formula 4) won the home race at the Red Bull Ring with points. "We immediately felt very comfortable in the Drexler Formula Cup," says Sepp Renauer. Company junior Florian trumps in his first Formula 4 race in Hungary and clinched a triple victory in the entry-level Formula 4 category. His position in the overall field was certainly remarkable, even leaving Formula 3 cars and Formula Renault cars behind. "Florian really surprised me, which made us feel very positive," says Sepp Renauer. The result at the Hungaroring can perhaps also be seen as a hint for the team's future plans. For 2020 they definitely want to continue driving in the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup. They are currently considering options with one Formula 3 and two Formula 4. Formula racing is still on Renauer Motorsport's agenda alongside GT projects.
