Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup

Even if he did not land on the top of the podium in Brno this time. For Sandro Zeller (Jo Zeller Racing), the two races at the Masaryk Racing Days ended with his sixth Formula 3 title in a row. The Swiss has dominated Formula 3 in the Drexler Formula Cup since 2016. For the F3 driver, who competed in the F3 European Championship years ago, this is another milestone in his motorsport career. Behind Zeller, the die is still cast. Thomas Aregger (Franz Wöss Racing) did not compete in the Czech Republic and left the field to Stefan Fürtbauer (Franz Wöss Racing) in the fight for the other podium places. Fürtbauer moved six points closer to Aregger. It was not only in Formula 3 that preliminary decisions were made in Brno. In the sub-rankings of the Drexler Formula Cup, too, the favorites came out on top and clinched the title early. In Formula 4, the new champion is Patrick Schober (Procar Motorsport). He scored the necessary points to finally distance himself from his long-term rival Benjamin Berta (Gender Racing). Berta was successful in Formula 3 for the first time in Brno. In the Drexler Formula 3 Open, which is run with more powerful engines, Vladimi Netusil (Effective Racing) finally prevailed and secured the class win this season. The Czech offered a consistent season. Alesandro Bracalente (One Management) is currently in second place. Behind him is Christian Wachter (Rennsport Wachter) in third place. In the Drexler Formula 3 Trophy, which is reserved for cars built between 1992 and 2007, there is still a neck-and-neck race between Prof.Dr. Ralph Pütz (Franz Wöss Racing) and Urs Rüttimann (Jo Zeller Racing). Both share the lead with equal points. No decision has been made yet in Formula Renault. The leading Walter Steding (Speed Center) was not present in Brno and left the field to the pursuers. Luca Steffen (Speed Center) and Dr.Norbert Groer (Team Hoffmann Racing) used their chance to make up ground. Whether Robert Siska (Franz Wöss Racing) can maintain his current second position in the standings remains to be seen.
