Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup
With very long-term planning, the Drexler Formula Cup has fixed a provisional schedule for 2022. "Based on many discussions and telephone calls with event organizers, we can offer the teams an attractive schedule for next year. We hope that this will create more planning security for the season preparations", says coordinator Franz Wöss. The schedule with its eight events leaves nothing to be desired in Formula racing. There will be races at seven European Formula 1 circuits alone. Due to the long-standing cooperation with the FIA Zone Championship and the TOP JET FX2000 Trophy, the 16 rounds will be held in six countries. In addition to Formula 3, Formula 4 with its new generation of cars will establish itself in the spotlight of the Formula series.
The season is scheduled to start on April 10 at the Hungaroring. Two weeks later (April 24), the Drexler Formula Cup will meet in Monza. With Imola follows on 08.May the second appearance in Italy. On June 5, the Drexler Formula Cup will come to the Red Bull Ring, and just three weeks later (June 26) it will be a guest at Spa Francorchamps. Many teams will be pleased to hear that the Hockenheimring has been scheduled for July 31st, as it has been a long time since the race was held in Baden. In keeping with tradition, the Drexler Formula Cup will be held in Brno on the second weekend in September (11.09.). At the end of October (23.10.), it will be off to Italy once again. The Formula 1 track at Mugello will mark the end of the season with the grand finale.
