Well prepared before the start of the season in Monza (ITA)

Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup

The Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup is well prepared before the start of the season in Monza. During the winter break, the Formula 3, Formula Renault and Formula 4 series received plenty of requests from teams and drivers to participate. "In fact, we had about 50 requests from almost all of Europe for our series. This is perfectly normal at this point in time, as the teams want to find out about possible entries in formula racing series in Europe and want planning security where you could consider a commitment," says coordinator Franz Wöss.

RAVENOL and HORAG support sub-ratings

Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup

In the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup there will be two sub-ratings again this season. The company RAVENOL will be active in series production for the first time in 2019. In addition, the lubricant manufacturer will support one of the sub-ratings of the RAVENOL Formula 3 Cup. In 2019, this classification is reserved for Formula 3 drivers who are German citizens or drive with a licence from the DMSB. "In consultation with our sponsors, we have slightly changed both sub-ratings in order to give even more drivers the opportunity to score points here," says Franz Wöss. For the pilots from Switzerland, everything remains as it was last year. The company HORAG will support the HORAG-Swiss Formula 3 Cup as a sub-ranking for the Swiss. The prerequisite here is that the drivers are Swiss citizens or drive with an ASS licence. For both sub-ratings the registration in the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup is mandatory. With the support of sponsors, in particular Drexler Automotive, this year's season offers further incentives for the participants. The best placed Formula 3 driver under the age of 25 will receive a voucher worth 5000 EUR for a GT test. The best Formula Renault 2.0 driver under the age of 25 can look forward to a voucher worth 2,500 EUR for a test in Formula 3 at Franz Wöss Racing. Of course, the participants in Formula 4 were also considered. Here the best placed Formula 4 driver under 25 years will receive a voucher worth 2,500 EUR for a Formula 3 test at Franz Wöss Racing.

In addition, there are two race tracks, where Moto-GP is at home, and one race track, where the Truck Grand Prix has been feeling really comfortable for years. "We have succeeded in creating an attractive calendar for this year. We drive in Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
